Mannum is a pretty riverside town on the mighty Murray River in South Australia. I was invited there recently for the second time to entertain residents from the local hospital, and the neighbours Aminya Nursing Home - again a lovely day - with friend Bob Sykes and his saxophone we were delighted to see the happiness and pleasure on the faces of our audience - testament to the importance of music in the care and welfare of those stricken with dementia or just ageing
